As an independent web designer, I was given the opportunity to rebrand and redesign a counseling practice website using WordPress content management system. I worked with the client directly to achieve a design that would best resemble the business while also maintaining a visually appealing and professional look.

Washington Place is a historic mansion once home to Hawaiʻi's last monarch, Queen Liliʻuokalani, and later the official residence of the Governor of Hawaiʻi.
This senior capstone project was initially developed by Analyn Delos Santos, whose goal was to design a mobile app that utilized Augmented Reality (AR) to make these historic stories come to life and incorporate digital technology into an updated modernized museum experience. Ultimately, I was brought on as an assistant developer and aided in completing the responsive-web experience.
This project was in partnership with the Washington Place Foundation and the previous First Lady of Hawaiʻi, Dawn Amano-Ige.
Design in Public Spaces was a course at the University of Hawaiʻi – West Oʻahu that taught students to discuss and reflect on approaches, methods, and theories related to designing for public spaces, employing graphic design techniques.

During my professional work experience at a small local marketing firm, I was able to accomplish 2 exciting things: working on my first e-commerce website and assisting with a start-up company.
Squatch on the Rocks was a start-up company based in North Carolina, specializing in a collection of products such as winter clothing, flags, bandanas, caps, and decals.
My tasks included designing and developing the entire website pages and creating over 200+ graphics for all of the product images. (My retail experience has prepared me for this… now I understand how an online store website is structured and designed!)
Designed a web-based mobile application to enhance the visitor’s experience at the Waikīkī Aquarium and highlighted 15 Hawaiian plants on the Aquarium ground using pictures and information. My tasks were to update the brochure with current images and information about each plant and program the collected information into the web-based app using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
The audio guide is complete with recordings of 9 different languages (including English for the hearing impaired.)
